Current Connection 5

On Foxnews.com, there is an article called Navy releases warning video on bath salts featuring demons. The authors purpose of writing this, is to show what happens when you take harmful subjects into your body.

The U.S. Navy has released a video warning people of the dangers and the health risks of bath salts and other drugs. First, what is a bath salt? A bath salt is a crystalline substance that is dissolved in bathwater to soften or perfume the water. In this video, a service member has taken the drug and documents his strange behavior.

The man, is seen snorting the bath salts and then vomiting as he is on his way to meet up with his girlfriend at the bowling alley. While he is under the influence, he sees his girlfriend turn into a demon and he becomes paranoid and hits her. When he runs back to his dorm, his roomate also becomes demonic. The service member is at the hospital, where doctors are trying to revive him.

Lt. George Loeffler, Navy Medicine psychiatry resident, says: "I would say not just as a naval officer, but as your doctor, bath salts will not only jack up your family and your career, it will jack up your mind and body too." Loeffler also states, "I've seen people turn to bath salts because of stresses in their life, but I've also seen bath salts magnify these problems." This campaigns goal is to lower the number of active duty service members who use these designer drugs.

Using bath salts and other sorts of drugs, is not the way to have fun or try to help with stress issues in your life. These drugs actually build up more stress for the person taking them and for their families. If you want to watch the video, here is the link.
